Hi Guys,
I am very new to this, so know pretty much the absolute basics!
I have just finished my second brew (1st being Coopers Dark ale, 2nd Wilkos Newkie Brown) I haven't tasted them as one is fermenting the other needs a few weeks in the shed.
In the 2 weeks I have been doing this I have already sourced nearly 200 bottles from my local pub (Barley Mow, Banbury) they have been saving all the Koppaberg bottles as these are 500ml, labels are a doddle to get off and they were only going to be thrown, so all these have cost me was a big tin of Roses for the bar staff to share!
I looked at making some crates but in the end decided to buy 6 for £45 from Ebay before the Mrs looses it with all these bottles everywhere!
I took my F.I.L on a tour of Hook Norton Brewery yesterday for his 66th B'day so am now more inspired than ever!
I look forward to picking your brains in the future! :hat:
