how much ABV% does batch priming add?

I have just brewed a coopers stout og 1042 - fg 1006 = ABV 4.8%
Should I expect any further strength to be added by batch priming and if so what would u suggest my final drinking ABV would be? :cheers:
 
It will increase by about 0.3-0.5 %/Vol Probably the lower end of that, given you don't normaly add as much priming sugar to stout, as you would to lighter beers. I could be mistaken tho, still I will use the lower figure to calculate mine (fermenting atm)

you get roughly 1% ABV per 17-20g per litre assuming the yeast finishes every last bit so roadrunners figures are about right.
 
Yep, agree with these, 500g in a 25L batch adds 1% ABV and the arithmetic seems consistent.
