Hello!
I've just filled a new pin up with beer and whacked the shive in. As hard as I tried, the shive didn't end up flush with the top of the pin. Is this ok? It seems like it's in pretty far. I took a couple of pics to illustrate.. Should I be worrying about it coming out do you think?

Don't worry, we use these commercially and never go flush with the ones supplied from brewery plastics and not had any problems with shives popping

They don't sit flat and you can see a little white ring. You will get them further in if they are fuller. The air stops you from hammering them in
