please can some one explain to me the differents between puting my grains into a bag then into a mash kun or grains straight into a kun with out a bag wont i get the same results iver way it seems to me a beginner at brewing that brew in the bag is you can spar and mash and boil then firmment in the same tub thank you all paul

The point in BIAB is you don't have a mash tun you just get the water to temp in the HLT/boiler then add the grains in the bag hold the temp then remove the bag and boil.

You are correct.

All takes place in one vessel.

The bag allows you to achieve this.

Method is:

1. Fill the pot with required volume of water.
2. Heat the water to the required temperature.
3. Pop in you bag.
4. Add your grains and stir well in.
5. Monitor the temperature.
6. Remove the bag and sparge over the pot.
7. Bring to the boil.
8. Add your hops depending on your recipe.
9. Boil and so on.....
