Hi all, I have just received my new electric boil kettle, and each element has a white seal, looks like a pressure barrel cap seal.
My question is... Does this seal fit between the element and the inside of the pot or does it fit between the outside of the pot and the locknut??
Thanks for any help.
 
if its a flexible washer its best on the inside if it doesn't work then buy a silicone baking sheet and cut 2 new washers. One for the in and one for the outside
 
fit the seal on the inside between the inside wall and element plate..

+1 for silicone sheet for a diy material, and ptfe wrapps work well too...
