Carbonation ??

Hi all
I'm new to this brewing game and have just sampled my first home brew lager. Very nice it is too ,I have just started a John Bull IPA kit and was wondering when bottling I would be ok to use the same carbonation drops that I used for the lager (coopers) I used 2 per 500ml bottle for the lager, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Simm555.. Sampling my first brew as well, Tom caxtons real ale, nice.. I had a little taste of my second brew a Coopers dark ale.. Yum yum. Third brew is in the FV, it's a wilko copper ale.

Welcome.. If you want the same level of condition in the ale as you have in the lager? sure, use 2 x carbonation drops per bottle, if you want less try just one,

there is lots of info on conditioning levels and the sugar mass to add to achieve
them...
