Im thinking of doing a beer extract kit and wanted to try adding maple syrup instead of sugars but have no idea how much I need to put in

The internet tells me the potential extract of maple syrup is 1.030

"If added during the boil it will add a dry, woodsy flavor. If added at bottling, the smooth maple flavor comes through."

When i did a old speckled hen and put golden syrup in there I used 454g in a 23L brew length. When I added molasses to a porter I added 72g. So I think it probably depends how strong the taste of maple syrup is as to how much to add
