Concentrated grape juice compounds

Hi all,

I have an old Boots recipe book and for most of the recipes it asks for 250g of concentrated grape juice. Is it possible to buy cartons of not from concentrate juice instead? What would the conversion rate for that be if possible?

yes you can buy it not from concentrate white is hard to find and not cheap red is available from lidl

we usually use 2ltr in a dj for the WOW

Cool, thanks. Would you say 250g tin of concentrated grape juice is equivalent to 2 litres of not from concentrate?

Hi partdeux,

I have used concentrate wgj from Wilkos Â£3, I would say it equates to 1 litre of Not From Concentrate, Waitrose have Not From Concentrate @ Â£1.75 per litre, personally I prefer the later.

As a general rule, 250 ml of concentrate = 1 litre of juice, the juice costing half the price!

Bear in mind the concentrate is made from wine grapes. This discussion thread explains a lot about difference, sugars etc...
