Advice, anyone?

Put a Beaverdale Merlot kit on two days ago, temp 20-22C, and by the following morning it had bubbles, so I thought it was on the way. Checked it again this morning and it's flat, with a ring of crust just above the surface, not a bubble in sight.

It's in a bucket with the lid loose, planning to transfer to fermenter and airlock at SG 1010 after 4 or 5 days.

OG had been 1082-4. Took a reading this evening and it was 1075, but on a different (30 yr old) hydrometer as we broke the other one. Temp around 22-24C at the time.

Should I do anything ? Stir it, perhaps ? or just wait and see ?

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Stirring it could help and will not do any harm, take readings over a few days and see if it is still fermenting.

Thanks Chippy_Tea.

Gave it a bit of a wobble last night and also made sure the lid wasn't being held down by the bubble wrap jacket.

Took the SG lunchtime and it is coming down.
