I have heard that my turbo yeast brew's flavour will improve with charcoal filtration.

Does anybody know if I can use a Brita water filter jug to achieve this?

Dunno whether it would work, also I know nothing about wine and cider brewing but if like beer brewing you don't want to introduce oxygen into the finished brew using a brita jug would do just that

I used a 25L fishtank filter, just make sure it's completely submerged to avoid adding oxygen.(http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003ZGAI12/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20)

Was brand new and I sterilized it like any other piece of kit. Removed all sponges and filters and put in a bag of active carbon. 2 days later it was crystal clear and took out all nasty tastes. Quite an easy drink even neat now. :)

Also modified my FV lid and fit a fish tank heater I had spare (no prizes for guessing my other hobby) (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0050BY5BY/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20)

Don't take any of my advice as gospel though, I'm new to this and only sharing my experiences.
