I had been using VWP since I started last year cos my mate recommended it, which is ideal for soaking a heavily soiled FV but a right pain in the ass come bottling time when I had to wash and rinse each bottle..

I hadn't realised that there were 'no-rinse' sanitisers out there so was chuffed to discover starsan at my lhbs. Bottling up was much improved!!

And putting 2ml in a 1l spray bottle gives me an instant sanitiser for spoons/surfaces etc.. It's a 470 odd ml container so should last for yonks

we use videne which is similar stuff i always give a quick rinse though even though you dont really need to.

I use milton tablets only 15 minutes contact time and no rinse, i believe you only need worry about rinsing if you make beer.

1: Drink beer, rinse, few squirt of starsan, put in cupboard.

2: Dunk bottles in big bucket with VWP, rinse, few squirts of starsan, drip dry, bottle new beer.

As of yet no infection.
