I've racked my mild into the corny yesterday, put in the fridge and pressurised to 30psi overnight. I have just been to try and draw some off to check/taste and the black ball lock adapter will not lock onto the post! I've tried another corny keg and it locks on perfect. Should I clean and sterilise the other corny and move the ale over or will I get away with buying a new post and changing it over quickly? Either way, I'm going to need a new post. Only got these recon kegs last week too.

Can you not swap the post from the corny that locks for now, then get another one later on? Will save the faff of transferring, and as long as the replacement is sterilised should be ok? Be quicker and safer for your beer I would have thought, as long as the cornies are same fittings wise.
