I've put this recipe together to brew as my second AG ever.

After inputting into Beersmith the numbers seem to add up to what I'm aiming for :

American IPA
All Grain 23l
ABV 5.83%
OG 1.058 FG 1.013
IBUs 54.4 Colour 14.7 EBC

6kg Marris Otter
.5kg Caramalt / crystal 40
25g Magnum 60 mins
20g Centenial 25 mins
15g Simcoe 15 mins
15g Amarillo 5 mins
15g Amarillo Dry Hop
15g Simcoe Dry Hop
20g Cascade Dry Hop

My efficiency last time was very poor, but I will hopefully be nearer my numbers this time if I follow my 'snag' list from my first go at AG.

I love hoppy American ales, so it's more of an experiment to see how far I can push the hop bill, before the malt, bitterness, hoppyness falls too far away from a nice contrast.

Any advice welcomed.

Cheers,

Looks good although from my experience you could increase the 15min and 5 min additions. Its surprising hop much hop flavour you can lose during the fermentation.
