a few more weeks and it's well nice and fizzy (fizz over the top of the glass when poured over ice quickly)

Well done. Looking at the dates of your posts for starting and for bottling I see you had a quick ferment time too. I've had a very quick ferment time (2-3 days) so I am starting to feel less worried that it hasn't worked.
Hope yours turns out great after conditioning for a while.

I cracked my first 1L bottle last Friday, it's a corker. I'll have to be hiding couple of bottles from SWMBO just in case the sun pops it's head out again over the summer.
