Probably a stupid idea,but....
Could you make a hop tea and when opening a bottle of bland brown beer that has completely lost its hop profile (yes,I have around 12 of these left!) add a syringe full to flavour it or does it absolutely have to be added at brewing stage to give it time to infuse?
Dry hopping can be as simple as a bag of sunk leafs for two days,is there much difference?
Apologies if this is the stupidest thread ever written

Thanks

I've read about home brewers adding dry hops to bottles of bud and other tasteless beers to test out hops. Pouring through a strainer. I wouldn't add a hop tea.

Adding hops to casks is an ancient practice still carried iut by many breweries. Sticking hops in bottles isn't! But probably a good way to test hops out. And improve tasteless commercial beers.
