Okay so I am looking a couple of years, (at least) forward but I wonder about the all in one options like the Grainfather etc. I wonder if anyone has used one and what the limitations are. For example could I do a malt heavy 6 or 7 kilo mash in one. Sort of a big Wheeler recipe. Some one mentioned a limitation with the GF a while ago but I could not sus out where it had gone.

9kg is the documented limit, I tried a 9% beer on my first brew but got poor efficiency but I think that was down to user error, i reckon I could hit it now but I have no interest in such a strong beer anymore.
