So, this is a Festival 'Father Hooks' Best Bitter, which is due to be dry hopped tonight.

This is only my second beer and it looks a little funky.

Has it gone wrong? Or does this look OK?

Cheers,
Andrew.

Awesome!

I was hoping that was all it was!

I think it's because this one had a lot more krausen than my first brew. I'm using the Coopers FV with krausen collar and when I pulled the collar last time it seemed to take all of that 'ming' with it!

Hops going in then!

Why not taste a small sample? I would expect off flavours due to infection to dominate if they are indeed there.

Cheers Andy,
I'm going with that advice.
Hoyed the hops in last night and leaving be until it's done!

Andrew.

Your welcome, Seriously every ferment is slightly different and will give you a different effect on the top, even the same brew in a different temperature can look different.

Kegged this brew today!

Smelled lovely and didn't taste too bad either!

I have high hopes!

Thanks again for the advice!!
