Got this one going yesterday. First one this year went well I think, we'll see went we comes to tasting it.
I'm calling it 'Hopped out' though having said that we'll see how hoppy it is first.

For 2 gallons:

marris otter 2kg
light crystal 50g

mash for 90 mins @ 66c (final mash temp was 65c so not too bad)
60 minute boil
@ 60 18g cascade 7.7AA%
@ 20 4g cascade 7.7AA%
@ 10 3g Irish moss
@ 1 8g EKG 5.7AA%

Pitched the yeast @ 20c (Gervin English ale yeast)
OG was 1044 (probably a touch lower than expected)

will leave to ferment for a week and then see how its going.

Barrelled this one up yesterday FG came down to 1010 so that's ok at about 4.5% Fermentation was coming to an end after about 5 days but left it for 7 just to be sure. Will leave it for two weeks before trying it. :drink:
The sample jar was nice :thumb:

Okay so I had a sneaky sample of this one today, couldn't resist it. Its only been conditioning for 9 days but its delicious really pleased with it, still needs to be a bit clearer but I'll give it another 5 days before trying again.
I'm hoping to do a 4 gallon partial mash stout next.
I think 'Hopped out' is a good name for it :thumb::drink:
