my brews have been going for about 12 days now and i was wondering at what point i should dry hop? And how many grams do i add to a 10 litre brew?

Cheers

Assuming they have finished fermenting you can dry hop now.. I work it backwards from when I plan to bottle , so I would dry hpo 4-5 days before bottling day.

How much depends on how hoppy you want it you could go for 20-30grams for a normalish size dry hop

ok thanks, whats the best way of taking a reading with hydrometer from the FV without introducing infection to see if its finished fermenting

Up to you, a lot of people have a trial / test jar which they will get a bit of the beer out using either a tap which you dont have or a turkey baser type instrument..

Quite honestly, I steralise/ sanitise the hydrometer and drop it straight in..
