Hi all,

I'm brewing a saison (p127 of Greg Hughes book), it's been fermenting since Sunday however for the last day or so there's been no activity in the airlock. It started of at 1.048 and is now at 1.018 - the book says the FG should be 1.010.

Should I give the tub a stir about? I cant raise the temperature anymore, it's already at 24c (as the book states) which is as high as my heater will go. Any ideas?

Thanks for the swift replies, i've given it a swirl. Something else... I've been called away for work last minute which involves being away from home for 3 weeks, I'll be leaving on Tuesday; should I leave this in the fermenter, meaning that it'll be in there for around 4.5 weeks or should I keg it before I go?
