Finally got around to making my first Christmas Pudding wine.

It's been fermenting for a week. Just strained it into the demijohn for secondary fermentation.

At the risk of being a bit stupid, can I ask is that using actual Christmas Pudding? Only asking as I've previously made the Hairy Bikers' Christmas Pudding vodka which just uses fruit and spices to generate the flavour.

Yes it uses 2 1lb good quality Christmas puddings so there is indeed 2lbs of Christmas pudding in this. First time I have known a wine to be rather greasy when fermenting due to the fat content of the puddings.

Not a stupid question at all, it could have just been pudding flavoured as you said. :)
