Hi guys!

Just came back from working in OZ. while i was there a discovered one of the best beers I've ever tasted! little creatures and, 150 lashes now I've been looking for a clone recipe but haven't been able to find one.

Any chance someone has tried these and even made one? The area i live i can only get hold of these hops : cascade, simcoe and columbus could i make it out of a combo of these?

looking forward for some feed back! :thumb:

Closest I can find is this. Nelson Sauvin and Amarillo hops, with malted wheat as an adjunct. Your Cascade could be used in place of Amarillo, but you'll be hard pushed to find anything to replace Nelson. Best bet is to use what you've got and come up with something that doesn't try to match 150 lashes - in all my attempts to replicate a beer I like I have fallen short of the mark (different water, yeast etc).

Plenty of nice recipes around which will suit what you have mate, and good luck.

These??

I don't know what hops are in it, but it is unlikley you will be able to clone it with just those 3 hops. Getting a recipe to clone is tricky when you do have all teh ingredients let alone taking a stab at it

From this topic they seem to suggest Cascase and Chinook (which you could sub for columbus) are used.

This one is for 150 little creatures, again they seem to suggest Cascase, Amarillo and Nelson... These are all guesses though..

It just got into Australia's top 10 of the Top 100 Beers. I must say I wasn't the biggest fan, more like commercial craft (how I would say it, could be a real term). Their IPA wasn't too bad. I'm glad Stone & Wood's Pacific Ale got #1 as it is a VERY tasty beer. :-D
