Lets see your preferred glass then lads .... :thumb:

In the market for some new ones and need inspiration.

I have a limited edition Tennants Lager Dundee pint glass. It has a load of phrases and places around Dundee printed on it.

My father in law got me it through his work (he's a buyer for a company that runs hundreds of Spar franchises), I would never be seen drinking that **** water!

Carling glass for me cant stand lager but deffo keeps a better head on homebrew for me
Dont know why but does

That'll be the etching in the bottom of the glass. Think they call it an activator or nucleus or something.

Thinking of trying some stemmed beer glasses. Thoughts?

Sorry for the link, had cleared phone of beer related pics for the time being.

I picked up a pair of these pint jars featured in the linked thread from the range (along with a pack of swing tops).

I have a Guinness brewers project that is quite nice, although I like the oversized beer festival glasses that allow for pouring with a big frothy head.

At the moment Im using these fullers goblet glasses - good for something with a bit of head + they were a promo gift about 20 years ago.

Sometimes I like to use this oldstyle glass from the Arkells brewery in Swindon - Ive had this for years & honestly dont remember where I stole it from when I used to work in Swindon.. I still drive past the brewery on the way to work so its loss has probably not put them out of business..

More recently I have an increasing number of not-quite-a-proper-pint tumblers, this one is from New Zealand I think - they have thicker glass so are good for keeping the beer cool on a hot day.

For Fathers Day the kids got me a pint glass and mug set that both say "Brewed to Perfection". Also like an oversized (pint and a bit) dimpled glass I have. I used to use an old pewter tankard as well until I found out old ones can contain lead and cause lead poisoning. I also have a 1 litre/2 pint German beer glass for when I use my pressure barrel which the wife makes me keep in the garage, so less trips.

Haven't really got a favourite glass and it does depend somewhat on the beer being consumed however there have been occasions of late when all the pint glasses have been in the dishwasher due to my missus' squash drinking obsession. So I recently got dragged to Ikea to buy chests of drawers for her dressing room so I thought I'd get some new glasses while I was there. Got a couple each of these:

The last one being my current favourite for homebrewed ales. Never been a massive tankard fan preferring a straight glass but I quite like these. Maybe it's old age creeping up on me :D
