just want to see if anyone has had to do the above?
I brewed the youngs IPA short to 20litres . its actually quite a sickly taste, just added some flat lemonade to my disappointment wasn't best idea. ill go for water next.
am I just being a wimp in my old age but has anyone else started enjoying a session beer (like I was, a ruby red), then to be hit with an alcohol kick that is less accommodating?

maybe after a couple I won't notice

Sparkling water from you local supermarket does the trick 1/3 of the pint that's what I do to when I make a beer too strong you may need to adjust to your taste

takes me back to the special brew days. the creosote effect with hazy mornings (the misses leaving me soon after) :doh:

I have poor taste allegedly, but I buy a 2L of supermarket shandy for this exact purpose and re-use the bottle.
