That takes me back the days of every corner shop and petrol station with its own selection of videos for rent, do you remember when they had VHS and betamax side by side.

I Rem the betamax at home with my parents. but not seeing any in the shops. I'm guessing they began to go off the radar late to early eighties?
I did rebuy some dvds due to the better quality and practicality (storing, ff,rewind), compared to VHS.
still got some in the loft. be fun to go trough them some day, even just the recordings from the tv just to see the ads in between, Ross kemp doin the kellogs fruit n fibre springs to mind.
