Octoberfest threat

this really sucks.apparently there hasn't been any official threat so I'm wondering if this just invites it.
either way its a sad day for the future of this festival.

I think it's standard now, if there's events they have to raise security. With the risk of attack it's best to try and be safe than sorry.

Another freedom gone I don't think we have much left for the establishment to take it'll be check points at the supermarket next

I went last weekend and there were security checking people on the way in, not everyone though just random checks. I didn't get searched.

Apparently is was quieter than previous years but it was still busy and an amazing thing to visit. :hic
