So... thought I'd branch out with my own flavour of TC.

Thinking a 5l TC. Would this work ?

3l of 100% apple juice
0.5l Bottle Green Elderflower cordial - free of additives and preservatives
0.5l strong tea
1tsp pectolase
1tsp yeast
1tsp nutrient
Top up with water

Thoughts ?

Sounds good mate, only reservation is that the elderflower cordials are pretty potent, I did a wow with wgj and 1L of the green cordial and it was pretty overpowering even in a 25L batch

Might be good fizzy though 😀

Sounds good, had a taste of the Ginger wine, pretty damn good, good flavour with a slight lip tingle from the chilli. Still a bit sweet for me at 1.008, got high hopes for this.

1 empty DJ and 5L of most definitely quaffable elderberry and Apple cider.

Bunged in 2 teaspoons of Splenda into DJ for a little backsweet.

Bottles carb'd and now the waiting game.

Tastes delightful.

I am reading this with interest. I was thinking of doing my first TC but with dried elderflowers. Does anyone know how much should be put into the cider to create a nice elderflower flavour??
 
Sorry fella , beyond my expertise as a brew noob. Would be keen to see an answer though !

I got a Wilkos 1 gall elderflower kit a few years ago.
The kit had 8g of dried elderflowers and when
I had finished, the elderflower taste was overpowering.

thanks for that - good to know.

I was thinking of more like 25g! I think I will have to revisit my estimate downwards lol
