Good Evening Just opened a wine kit can Elderflower Says on label "light white wine " but it"s a mid red colour Mind you it"s been on the shelf for a while Best before Sep 2014! Have started it off in demijohn will it be any good or has it gone off? should it be white wine colour? Thanks

did you buy it old or did you just forget it? hehe

depending on the heat it was stored it could have....i dont know where i am going with this ?
 
It shouldn't be reddy colour, not elderberry is it? Elderflower kits tend to be light in colour!

Shouldn't this be in wine & cider forum?
 
If its a can, then it's unlikely to go off, they are hermetically sealed.
The proof however, will be in the sampling :-)
