So works a little quiet at the minute so I had another day in the office, BREW TIME !!

Cascade SMaSHish :

4.5kg pilsner malt
500g crystal 20 ( hence why its a SMaSHish)
40g Cascade 60 min
25g Cascade 15min
35g Cascade 0min

Crossmyloof american pale ale yeast

Hit 23 liters on the dot

Thats 5 brews i'v done on the GF and I'v been a good lad and not started drinking any of it yet.

Nice one!
I can't wait to try the pale ale...cascade citra and chinook
Fire me up no end lol
Bri

Well there's a 100g of Cascade in this one, the sample I took tasted like grapefruit. Might try the same grain bill with citra next.

There's patience and there's patience. Drink some!

I want the first batch I drink to be at least 6 weeks old, i'v been going a bit brewing mad lately trying to get a good stock up so hope fully I will always be drinking beer thats had chance to condition properly

i may well adovocate for long maturing periods to get the best from many brews however its not ever stopped me cracking a crafty sample earlier to judge just how the maturing is progressing..

Some brews shine green too, would be a shame to miss an early bloomer ;)

I Cornie Keg all my beer so just taking a sample isn't really an option.
I am planing/doing 3 weeks primary, leave in keg for a week, fridge for a week, carb up over a week.
I may omit the final stage and carbonate at 5 weeks.
