Hi. New to the forum and getting back into brewing with a few kits. Currently brewing the Cwtch kit which is smelling and looking great. About to bottle, going to transfer to a secondary vessel with the priming sugar and bottle using a bottling Wald attached to the tap. I have a load of swing top bottles which I am going to use to bottle however they are 750mL - just wondering how much head space I should leave in the bottles??

I do exactly as IainM says even when using 660ml and 1l plastic bottles. It has never been a problem but only use 100g of priming sugar per 20 litres of beer so perhaps I'm not carbonating too heavily.

Is that still the case when using 750mL bottles??

Yes, I've never had a problem doing it with 750ml bottles, even for quite highly carbonated beers. The bottles are taller, so the volume of liquid displaced by the bottling wand is larger.
