It sounds good, I love the original. It's a good brewery.

I've just had a pint of this today (£5.30), I didn't know it was that expensive or I wouldn't have ordered as I've never heard of it. Anyway was a nice pint but cloudy and no head on it, I even took it back to ask if it was meant to be like that? Reply was yes. I wouldn't buy again at that price but was ok'ish, my simply pale ale at 35p a pint is much better IMO.

Yeah thats average price.
Usually £2.80 for a 330ml can.
Should have a touch of haze but usually a nice head.
Think you got a bad pint.

Gamma Ray is excellent and Beavertown is a brilliant brewery. Probably the cheapest place to drink in London too. Only open Saturday's though.

I was in Dublin a few weeks ago and have heard nothing but good reports about Gamma Ray,so I ordered a can in a bar in Temple Bar.
6.20 Euros!!!
It was very nice though,so as soon as got home I searched for a recipe and ordered the ingredients and currently have it fermenting. Can`t wait.
It wasn`t the original recipe though,so afterI try it,I`ll follow the original recipe and give that a go.

Out of interest, where did this recipe come from? I haven't seen Beavertown publishing their recipes.

I'm a big fan of this beer, I'd be interested to hear how this turns out.
