Default Anyone purchased a fermentasaurus?

I am looking at getting another brewing vessel, and while I have a brewmaster bucket. And a few plastic fermenters. I am considering another option before I go ahead and get a second BM bucket.

I was looking at the Fermentasaurus (£99 on its own + £29 for the post lock kit for oxidationless keg transfer) and I wondered if anyone else has got one/tried one?

Hi!
With the pressurisation kit the Fermentasaurus can be used as a uni tank - ferment, condition and serve from a single vessel.

Your right it is a beast. But then I’ve looked at all of the other true “conical” and they are all in that ball park in height.

The only difference in this is one is it’s a true conical and it doesn’t cost £500!!!

I've got one.. but I've not used it yet. I got it with the pressure top, and I also bought the funky valve so that you can set the pressure it stays at.

Plan to brew this coming weekend and it will be my FV of choice. I'll write a review also if you like.

Deco hook me in on that one. I think I’m going to buy one for myself for my birthday after the plastic bucket fermenter fiasco on the weekend.

Plus I really want to get into true yeast harvesting and reuse and refine the processes.

I've been looking at these (great review in the other thread) mainly because I'd like to be able to get rid of the yeast before dry hopping, and to pressure transfer would be cool.
With the disconnects on top of the pressure lid though it will be a very tight fit in my brew fridge - would be gutted if I got one and it doesn't fit.

Just had to Google what one was. So using it can you force carbonate and transfer straight to bottle?
