Never done it before to be honest,I remember making some notes a while back.
Did it the day before I brewed.

Use a 1/3 more grain than you need.
Place em in a shallow tray in the oven.
45 mins.@ 190C
30 mins.@ 220C
30-60 mins,stir @ 30,45,60 mins.
60-90 mins,stir every 10 mins.

Mrs ll came in later and thought I'd been roasting my coffee beans.Got to admit it filled the place with a lovely aroma.

Was'nt too sure what to expect, but worked out tidy. :D

No problem repeating this method next time. :thumb:

Looks like someone had fun, Good brew day then.

Whats the doobry thingymabob that you are pouring your runnings through ? home made or shop bought ?

Another tidy brew.
53 bottles @ 4.1% =15.5p a pint
Brewhouse efficiency 84% on this one.
Yeast attenuation 75.4%.
Will leave it for 4 weeks now, then knock up some labels to complete.
Kept the yeast to bake some bread later in the week. :thumb:

Well happy with this lot.

Baked a couple of tidy loaves yesterday using the saved yeast from this lot.
Top stuff too. :thumb:
Still got some left for more loaves.

Finally got round to labeling these.Couldn't decide which one to go for,so I did 50/50.
