My mash efficiency is usually around 73% although some German Pils malts I get a lower efficiency and have to mash a little longer.. I get my malt from malt miller on a standard crush..next purchase will probably be a grain mill. Not sure if as I buy 25kg crushed bags if MM are crushing it when it's standard crush or if it comes from maltster crushed. I use BZ Gen 3..Simpsons lager and Maris I get a better efficiency than say Bestmalz pils
