cloudiest wort ever. sampling the london pride clone, tasting good - but young! employed 2 hop bags this time, great results.

recorded 17L @ 1.046, so a little liquoring back, but close enough to target.

beer!

Pitched a 2 litre yeast cake from my London Pride clone last week and, well...it's almost fermented out overnight

but then, it's very cloudy - so let's leave it a while eh....

bottled tonight, liquored back to 4% (i think, i didn't take FG because I can't be arsed, it's between 3.7% and 4%.)

tasting great, a weirdly distinct toffee apple type smell. the yeast smell also seems a lot different to usual because of the recycled cake. Put it into 2 litre bottles so I can drink them from the fridge with the family on warm summer nights

I think clear wort is good, but it will all drop out eventually anyway. If you can remedy it, do so. I would rather save as much beer as possible by tipping my boiler

done!

The wheat caused a protein haze that I can't reverse cause I forgot the irish moss, but it's a good beer and I can deal with the cloudiness. It's sorta refreshing to be honest!

Nice honey hops, dry and bitter finish, lovely carbonation. i'll be supping a few of these over the next month or two!
