So, I've done one BIAB, should be doing a second this weekend, weather permitting, both HBC AG kits. When I got the Belgian Dubbel kit, the bag had split and spilt the grain. HBC kindly sent replacement grain, but I did manage to salvage most of what had split. So, I have 5kg of crushed Pilsner and Melanoidin malt which, gathering from the colour of the wort, I would say is a 9:1 ratio. I also have a Coopers Lager kit which came with a bunch of stuff I bought on ebay. So, the plan was to use these up and create a Black IPA. This is my first partial mash recipe, so any comments would be welcome.
