After a long search for a Co2 supplier in my area (Dumfries and Galloway) I called in to

The Keg Shed

in Annan, and spoke to Robert who after listening to my needs provided me with a Co2 bottle.

There was no need for an account and there is no monthly rental or deposit, just the cost of a refill, which was either £11or£17 (can't remember which). Result!!

Robert was happy to supply other home brewers.

Any queries contact Robert on 07967036962.

Very good. didn't they charge you for the cylinder ?

No charge this time. Apparently it was a returned bottle which had little if any use.

Seems full to me.

when buying cylinders make sure they are in the serviced date ( check relevant coloured top ) bearing in mind you will be keeping it for over a year hopefully before you need it refilling, as if its out of time most places will not re fill them and its costs to have the cylinder serviced and re certified.

Thanks P, I'll make a note of that. Don't want to be left with an out of date bottle.

Edit:

Expiry date of 2016, so should be ok
