Hi everyone, long time follower and thought it was beyond time to add my two cents. Got the stink eye from the wife last time I brewed a lager and to be fair I can't blame her...the smell of egg would knock a horse. Decided it was time to deal with the blowoff. Doubt I'm the first to do this but delighted with myself for coming up with the idea on my own. Blowtie routes to a plastic bottle filled with starsan so I can see the activity and then out of the garage for the outside world to deal with. Pics tell their own story, and a pic of my cheeky Thursday stein of my saaz loaded lager that lead me to this point thrown in for good measure.
