Hello all,
My cooker hood is playing up! The extractor works fine on all settings but after the light bulbs popping a while back, new bulbs obviously, the lights now don't work!
I've done a Google and a suggestion was to change the control switches which do both fan and lights as the switch could be broken. I did this earlier, just 6 wires in a block connector and a few screws...the fan works but the lights still don't! Tried some new bulbs I had just in case! Also they're halogen type screw in 40w,so not getting an issue with low voltage LED.
What next?

Righto..
Espares list most bits for this, and there doesn't seem to be anything unusual.

Do you have a simple tester or a contactless leccy detector pen even?

I can't see one, perhaps it's up in the chimney section, which is fixed through a section of unit that spans the cupboards either side..typical!
I did check the wires and did cut and restrip an end of one that looked a bit crushed.
