I am going to do a brew tomorrow and use up some malts and hops, any guidance would be welcome

I have the following

- Maris Otter pale malt - loads of it (half a sack)
- Heritage Crystal Malt - 490g
- Chocolate malt - 210g
- Challenger hops 100g
- Cascade hops approx 100g
- Saaz Hops 100g
- Kveic Yeast on the way from amazon

Any recipe ideas - pointers or links would be great

Many thanks. :beer1:

American Brown Ale. 5% Abv 25-30 IBU's

8-10% Crystal, 3-4% Chocolate Malt

Challenger for bittering and a 10 minute addition. Cascade at flame out.

Around 4.5kg total grain, based on around 65% efficiency. 20g of challenger at both 60 and 10 minutes, 40-60g of Cascade at flame out. Should do it for a 20L batch.

20 litres 1050 34ibus
4 kg MO
FWH with challenger to 30 ibus
15 min cascade 20g
Flameout cascade 20g
Steep at <80C cascade 30g
Dry hop 3 days cascade 30g
US-05 of CML Five or similar

A lovely pale ale bursting with flavour.
I use 90% MO low colour and 10% wheat malt, the recipe above will be a tad richer and darker.
