Hi all. I recently bought a second hand Angram pump which pulls through fine. However, the beer in the line has a woody/metallic taste until I've pulled through about a pint. Then it tastes fine until the next session. I've cleaned it with pipeline cleaner. Any ideas how to fix the taste?

Replace all the tubing and take the cylinder to bits and give it all a good soaking in PBW or similar. It’s probably been sat with beer dregs in.
I did this when I bought 2 second-hand Angram engines, and have had no issues. It's a tedious task taking it apart but as long as you keep track of what part is what, it'll be fine.
