Torrified wheat in witbier? Issues with conversion at high %?

Give raw wheat a try in your next Wit; I'm pretty sure you'll agree with me. Flaked wheat is a disappointment and torrified isn't much better. As I mentioned in an earlier post, try spelt if you can find it.
 
Well, I brewed this today - and had issues with conversion/efficiency. Target OG was 1.049, but I ended up with 1.042 post poil... Very frustrating, as I have been achieving consistent efficency on my set up for a few years now, and haven't had an issue with this mashing schedule previously, nor my sparge so it must be down to the large proportion of unmalted grains?

The grist was 45% extra pale, 45% torrified wheat, 10% oats.
