Upscaled oatmeal stout- do I need more hops?

I’m doing the Jon finch oatmeal stout soon and I’ve doubled the grain bill and scaled the water back to 28l. (19l normal, should be 38l technically but haven’t got the fermenter space!)
So I’ve doubled the hops too but Brewfather isn’t happy with my choices in life.
Please could people look at the screenshot and tell me if I need more IBUs? Is Brewfather just spitting the dummy out because I’ve scaled the water back?
Am I ok to brew like this or will it be totally out of whack?

I’ve no idea it’s still in the fv! I didn’t get the volume I wanted (ended up with 23 litres) but I’m now pretty convinced the oats are responsible for holding onto the wort in the mash as it happened too the first time I did this oatmeal stout!
Apart from that my OG was much bigger than I’d anticipated- got 1.082 so it will be interesting to see what my fg is. I did note that fermentation went crazy for first 3 days including the usual airlock getting filled with krausen then slowed right down on day 4. I’ll look at bottling on one day next week when I get a moment. I’ve got a Parti gyle on Monday to do so quite busy planning that atm!
I’m impressed with the aggression and speed of notty yeast though!
 
Your OG was as predicted in screenshot by Brewfather so shouldn't have been a surprise.
OG should be 1.020 giving ABV of 8.3% so may be quite sweet.
The IBU's were only one point over recommended for style though.

What can I say, I was still surprised lol I think the reason I was expecting a lower OG is because I cut back to 7kg pale malt and adjusted the rest of the malts accordingly so I thought I would get lower OG, that said I did end up with 23l instead of 28 but still.

Lookin at the BU:GU ratio 0.49 it's at the low end of the style range whereas all the other figures at the high end, so possibly going to be lacking hops a little bit. Will likely still be fine though.

You could do the "hop tea" method to add some more IBUs although it's probably best done during the main fermentation.

I’ve just taken an fg and sampled it- tastes lovely! Fg was at 1.015 so lower than expected and it’s at 8.8%abv so another strong one lol!
Here’s a screenshot of the Brewfather that I used in the end- slightly different from originally posted.

Founders breakfast oatmeal stout is 8.3% and either 60 or 65 IBU. That would be the minimum I would go for in what is technically an imp stout.

Well… maybe as it fermented further than 1.020 and went down to 1.015 it’s taken that extra sweetness away and left it a touch dryer.
Hmm..orrr maybe I’m just totally wrong, maybe the sample tasted awful after all 🙄

But it’s not an imperial stout, it’s not got massive malt or roast. Imo the fg is too low for an imperial, the body not as full as an imperial. Also it’s got tons of oatmeal in. I’d put it more as simply a strong oatmeal stout but I’m sure others will chime in to say exactly how wrong I am soon.
