Planning on brewing the Mangrove Jacks juicy IPA, tomorrow.
purchased 26lts of bottled water today to try brewing with.

I put this on on Monday. Looking forward to it. It is fermenting away nicely. I did the Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA a couple of months ago and tried 2 bottles at the weekend. It was absolutely gorgeous. Nicest beer I think I have ever tasted. So really looking forward to the Juicy Session IPA. I am building up a stash which I will start digging into in Mid May in perfect timing for Juicy Session IPA being ready, my Birthday and BBQ season. My stash will be:
1 Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA
2 Festival Oaked Apple Cider
3 Bruphoria James Blonde Ale
4 Mangrove Jacks Bavarian Wheat beer
5 Mangrove Jacks Juicy Session IPA

Very nice, have you got the Wheat on the go yet? I think I'll be trying that for my 2nd brew (first try is the Cooper's wheat).

My second beer was a Coopers Hefe Wheat kit made with Wheat dry malt extract. It was really really good. I still have 5 bottles left which I am saving so as to do a head to head comparison with the Mangrove Jacks Bavarian Wheat beer. I bottled the Bavarian Wheat beer last weekend. I loved the Coopers Hefe Wheat, and it compared very well against some shop bought wheat beers. I wrote a little review afterwards. Best of luck.

Apologies Damien (my Grandsons name!) I spoke to you before about your Cooper's kit, I'm sure I followed your recipe for it cos of your review. 180g of priming sugar if I remember right? wink...

Definitely trying the MJ version next with the enhancer, and maybe a half kilo of spray malt lol just for a wee kick. But I'll await your verdict :hat:

Yes 180g priming sugar was perfect. I used 180g too batch primed for the Bavarian Wheat beer. I’m going to wait until mid May to try it. I really love a wheat beer. If you haven’t tried the Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA yet give that a go. I had two bottles last Saturday night. It is genuinely amazing, really nice. Best kit beer I have made so far, and I think nicest beer I have ever tasted. I’m going to save the rest for a few more weeks. It will be perfect in the back garden on a warm day whilst cooking on the BBQ.

I reckon we have similar tastes and I've been wondering what else to try, so I'll dip my toes into the IPAs with that I think athumb.. I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it, some of the IPAs I've seen look tremendous and I'll try any beer once (and finish them all!).

Plenty other wheat beers to try too, and I'm really hoping somewhere along the line I can hit something resembling a Franziskaner.
