Totally agree with the concept. But personally despise pink floyd sorry mate. If we’re on rock opera bands though I’m a massive fan of American Idiot by green day. More punky obvs.

I like a bit of all sorts!
Mainly rockn roll,rock a Billy.
My absolute favourite... Elvis.. especially the Vegas concerts/70's stuff. Never equalled.
Also Tom Jones and other stuff like The Eagles,ska,The Hollies. I'm also a big Showaddywaddy fan..got 13 LP's!

I listen to Rock, mostly prog rock, Pink Floyd, Yes, Uriah Heep, early Genesis but also some heavier stuff like Scorpions, Motörhead and AC/DC. But, by far my favourite band are Rush. The best band most people have never heard of

I will confess to being a fan of Rush.
At my age I should prefer Pink Floyd, but I'm with you, Green Day would get my vote.
I've only seen Floyd once, at Wembley Arena when they were touring to support the release of 'Animals'. It was a waste of money, like listening to the album at home with the volume turned up. They played everything exactly the same as on the album and only acknowledged the audience by saying "We are going to take a break now", when there was an interval after playing Wish You Were Here and before Animals

Perhaps we should post bands we don’t like.
The worst band for me is Led Zeppelin. It’s just noise for me. There’s hardly any words and just repeated drones. That’s how bad it is for me ha ha.

I saw AC/DC when Bon Scott was lead singer, loved them. My best friend at school was a Rush fan, they weren't for me though, too pompous. I liked early Genesis, Yes and Floyd, but went off them after the first few albums.

I've heard of them, can't say that I remember any of there music though.
Yep. Them and the Alan Parsons Project too. Also forgot to mention Supertramp. Very underrated and their two most famous songs, Logical Song and Breakfast in America, are possibly their two worst.
