Another 2 beers turned up from the same sender today, however there was no note who they're from. One is a 500ml bottle with a red cap which says SBVL 19/02 and the other is in a Viru bottle which says DB 23/02.

The total is now 17 beers! It's gonna be a heavy weekend...

They are mine, only sent midday yesterday. I was hoping to be fashionably late 😎.

Hi, apologies but I've not had the time this week to package up my two lagers to send on, and I think they could do with another week or two cold to smarten them up. I know it means they won't make the competition but I'll send them on just for your interest once they are properly ready.

No worries, and always happy to try some homebrew :laugh8: . I would like to send something back but unfortunately I'm empty :(

I've been going through the beers, creating a spreadsheet so I can write feedback as I go. There are 17 in total, 5 of which are doppelbocks. It's gonna be an interesting night!

How'd last night go, did you get through them all. 🥴
Last night was really good fun, we did manage to get through all 17 beers. I wrote feedback for all as I was going along and am just proof reading, having other thoughts and adding any extra helpful feedback where I can, will hopefully be revealing winners later today followed by some feedback.

After what was an amazing evening of beer tasting, my 2 friends and I managed to get through all 17. We all think each beer had something really good to offer and we hope the feedback is very well received. Anyway, what you've been waiting for:

  1. @samale's doppelbock
  2. @NPi 's schwarzbier
  3. @Mash Monster Bavarian pils
Congratulations to you all, especially @samale! If anyone wants to share their recipe it would be great if you could also share your method as lager brewing comes down more to technique than recipe a lot.

We really enjoyed trying all the beers, and thank you everyone who submitted theirs. I'll be sending out detailed feedback to everyone shortly.
