First premature look at my latest Vienna APA codename "Bry'n'Bru". Liking it a lot.

BRY-97 yeast
BRU-1, Mosaic and El Dorado hops
50% Pale ale malt, 50% Vienna

Another mixed bag with the weather today. I started off the gardening with full sunshine and an APA

And ended up having to retreat to the shed for an IPA during a sudden downpour

The APA was ok, it had a fresh brewed malty taste to it and went down well. The IPA was bloody lovely, hopped with Amarillo and Motueka and it tasted of marmalade. I'll have to try out this hop combo in one of my own brews.

Now having an English Bitter after taking Summer Breeze V3 off-line and putting the bitter on tap.

Back to V2. Someone asked me earlier which version I would recommend and I answered that all three are different beers and which you might prefer would depend on your taste / what you’re looking for. With this in mind I’m thinking of naming the three differently rather than taking the “variant” approach.

Version 2 will be Summer Breeze because I think version 2 is what Summer Breeze was intended to be. It’s golden-yellow, fruity, bitter, sulphate rich.

Version 3 will be Summer Sun because it’s more juicy and softer, it has a feel-good vibe like the warmth of the sun. It’s golden-yellow again but tinged with orange, it’s softer, less bitter, and chloride rich.

Version 1 is sweeter, more malty, orange-amber in colour. The name is currently undecided so I’m open to suggestions. ...I already feel I might regret this

On the topic of naming our beers. I tweaked my recipe for Summer Breeze in the Brewfather App into an English IPA and added 'English' to the 'Summer Breeze' name. Then I realised it was more of an ESB than an IPA. I looked at the name again and realised...

English Summer Breeze = ESB

It was meant to be.

Tonight was dry hopping night so I had to make the task a little lighter by having a pint of riwaka pale.

I was dry hopping my Talus pale, now I know you shouldn't judge a beer by the trial jar but this one wasn't tasting so fresh, perhaps a bit stale edging towards sour. My main worry here is whilst boiling my beer the farm next door was having lime spread on their fields, with the wind blowing it all towards my house and my brew.

It shouldn't have spoilt it and hopefully I am just paranoid.

This "Out in the fields" Saison! won't last long. Good job I have the quick-brew "Wild thing" fruity kveik pale almost ready, it should be grain to glass in about a week.

Another early sneak of my Neipa. This is only in the keg 3 days.

Mosiac lupomax citra and centennial
Colour and mouth feel is spot on. Aroma is surprisingly light but the taste is tropical fruit. This is showing great potential
