Fantastic news that over 700,000 jabs were booked on Friday, when we opened vaccinations up to ages 18-20. It’s great to see young people stepping up and playing their part in the national effort. When you get the call, get the jab.

I asked my son (23) who has his first jab this week if his friends are as enthusiastic as he is about getting their jab and he said non of them said they are not getting it.

I posted that when my wife got her second jab, the nurse told her that over 50% of that day’s appointments had been no shows. They were all around the 30 years of age group. The nurse did add that when they find out that they can’t go to Ibiza without evidence of two jabs that they will be back, and hammering down the doors for a jab.

Scottish midfielder Billy Gilmour has tested positive for COVID 19 but the Scottish FA have said that there are no close contacts identified from inside the camp so they have 25 players fit to face Croatia this evening 🙄

I thought people you have been in contact with have to isolate, my grand daugter and her mum are after she had been in contact with someone at school

Match play is not considered close contact and it seems it was good enough for the scottish FA to declare there had been no close contact between him and the other players at any other time.

Some of the pics i saw on the news show very close contact and how many times did he and other players handle the ball, were we all told to sanitize after handling things, nothing stacks up here except the millions of pounds it would cost to cancel games or tournament, not having a go Benfleet it's just as i see it acheers.

at least they are considering the no need to isolate if you've had your second jab more than 2 weeks ago.
I agree with that DOJ i have had both of mine, had a weeks holiday to Lincolnshire going to dorset for a week in 3 weeks then somerset in september, it's all about common sense now as far as i am concerned acheers.

I completely agree with you. It’s complete BS. Don’t get me wrong, I’m enjoying the football, but it seems the brief is this show will go on regardless. Someone almost died on the pitch in the first game and even that didn’t get a game cancelled 🙄

Which part of Dorset are you coming down to? I'm lucky enough to live here.
