Hi,

Thanks for having me here. I am somewhat new to brewing. some years back I did a few kits and even a partial mash on the stove which went reasonably well I thought. I had to give it all up for a while but I'm back and looking at getting into all grain brewing.

Other than that I am male, in my 30's from West Yorkshire and I'm into rock music, tattoos, bouldering, motorcycle and of course many more things.

I look forward to browsing and learning here =)

Welcome to the forum.

I had to google bouldering, these are a cracking pair :laugh8:

I don't climb outdoors...I'm not that crazy! 🤣 But I have a lot of respect for those that do. It's good fun though.

Welcome. I was into motorcycles a couple of years ago. A spill frightened me away from that. Although when the kids are bigger I’d like to take that up again. But until then I’ll continue to brew premium kits, fly Microlights and run. A little more slightly safer.

Damienair.....is microlighting easy to get into? Is it an expensive hobby?
It’s a very affordable way to get into flying. I got my license in 2005 and did loads of flying around the UK and Ireland until the kids came along and clipped my wings a bit. I fly a 21 year old 2-stroke Microlight which cruises along at 60 mph. It cost me £3,500 about 6 years ago and I’d get £3,500 for it now. You can also get high end machines which will cruise along at 80-100 mph and cost big money. But there is a great second hand market with options to suit any budget. You’d need to do between 30-40 hours of training with an instructor to get your pilots license. It’s great fun. I must admit I have done nothing this year due to lockdown and laziness. But I’ll be spending plenty of time working on my Microlight over the coming weeks so as I can do plenty of flying next year.

Thanks for that I'll have to look into it, sounds really good.

Wow that sounds amazing!! To be fair I haven't rode in a while also due to a little one but do love it when I get the chance.
