6. Do you think all Southern beer is awful. ...
🤔

Didn't you mean to type "Do you think all Southerns are awful"?

🤭

Actually, being Welsh brought up in E. Midlands, I'm happy to flip sides depending on who I want to annoy next.

To put a bit of balance in my last post: There is a potential contradiction in a comments above ...

When I lived near Bury, only the posh and southerners pronounced it "Berry". True Northerners pronounced it "Bur-ry".

...
10. Do you like Black Pudding (especially from Bury)

But having re-established my Welsh roots, and therefore my British roots, I see the correct pronunciation is "Berry" ... true Brits have little need for caveman sounds ("ugh"), that sound is only needed by barbarian Germanic invading tribes (later called "English").

Balance restored! Now everyone thinks I'm annoying!

5/10 for me - epic fail. Makes sense: I’m a true southern softie - but evidently I have inherited a few civilising influences from my Keighley father and Leeds mother-in-law
I can only put my hand up to 1, 3 and 10, but I'm more of a a northerner than those who put their cross in the wrong box at the last big one.

Only 2/10 for me (Mild and Black pudding although I see Scottish Black pudding as the superior one so maybe only 1/10) then again I live in Oxfordshire and South Oxfordshire at that so not that surprising.

Surely the true northerner has to be born in Yorkshire, doesn't eat black pudding from Lancashire, only drinks southern beer when on holiday down there and Leeds United are the true sleeping giants.
So your Questions need addressing athumb.. :laugh8::laugh8::laugh8:
Absolutley spot on in every respect. @the baron . Except I like black pudding so much, I might very well force down a yard or two of the Lancastrian at a push.

Dunked in a pint of Tetley's Bitter, of course.

The truth of this is in the 4 Yorkshiremen sketch by Monty Python who pay hommage to the truth.
Sorry I can not put a link I am sure Chippy will but my computer is powered by peddaling in true Yorkshire fashion
